Finance controller – production
As a finance controller, you will be supporting monthly finance closing processes, working on plant related manufacturing performance topics and assisting / replacing the current Plant controller in transition and continuous improvement projects.
This position refers to talents in finance who have potential to lead teams and key processes and want to grow into the next level. The person should have a good head for figures and for dealing with complex analysis, as well as an experience in SAP as well as Excel and excellent analytical skills. The person should have eagerness to learn and drive to improve processes within the controlling and accounting area.
You will work within our finance team in our Suchdol Plant and will engage with plant manager and leadership team. There will be frequent interactions with colleagues from other department, especially from production and interactions with other plants across whole division.

Responsibilities:
- Supporting the month end close process (Actuals, Forecast, KPI’s)
- Sales controlling
- Develop and coordinate business profit plans
- Providing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines and the interpretation of such including variance analysis and cost control reporting and recommendations
- Managing budgets cross-functional
- Conducting cross-functional reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities and continuous improvement
- Evaluating on financial implications of strategies
- Evaluate and approve capital appropriation requests prior to region/division approval. Monitor and report purchase commitments and spending for all capital programs
- Support controlling internal controls and SOX requirements that safeguards company assets and provides integrity and propriety of financial transactions and activities.
- Undertakes ad hoc projects as assigned by plant controller
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance (or higher), ideally technical background
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in Finance, ideally with manufacturing controlling background
- Understanding of financial transactions (PnL, Balance sheet)
- General MS office skills, advanced level in Excel
- Good analytical skills and business acumen
- SAP FICO knowledge
- Good communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and presentations to management
- Fluent in Czech and English
